How to read a stock comparison
Comparisons put two companies on the same scale. Relative performance shows how $1 invested in each would have moved; valuation metrics such as the P/E ratio show what investors pay for each dollar of profit; and margins show how efficiently each business turns revenue into earnings.
No single metric decides which stock is better. A lower P/E can signal slower growth, and a higher dividend yield can reflect a falling share price. Use comparisons as a starting point for your own research.
